The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites residents to participate in a public workshop regarding the State Road (S.R.) 823/Flamingo Road Feasibility Study from NW 202nd Street to the New River Greenway.

The study is evaluating proposed improvements to enhance pedestrian and bicycle connectivity and safety, including:

• Widening existing sidewalks and adding a new 12-foot shared-use path
• Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps to meet ADA requirements
• Installing high-emphasis crosswalk markings at various intersections

Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the proposed project, ask questions, and provide feedback. Written or emailed comments will be accepted through July 31, 2026.
