Tour WM’s New Recycling South Florida Facility

Ever wondered what happens to your recyclables after they leave the curb? Residents are invited to join the Town of Southwest Ranches and Waste Management for a guided tour of WM’s new Recycling South Florida facility in Pembroke Pines.

This facility features advanced technology and more efficient sorting processes designed to improve recycling operations across Broward County and the surrounding region. During the tour, residents will learn how recyclable materials are sorted, processed, and prepared for reuse using modern equipment and innovative systems.

Industrial recycling facility tour

Closed-toe shoes required

Walking, stair-climbing, and crossing catwalks included

Limited to 30 participants (first-come, first-served)
