Business Impact Estimates

Effective October 1, 2023, Section 166.041, F.S., requires a Business Impact Estimate (BIE) to be prepared along with certain ordinances that impact the operations of local businesses. This section mandates that the BIE be published on the City’s website and contain certain information, including the purpose of the proposed ordinance, as well as the estimated economic impact on businesses and compliance cost.
