18900 Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332
This passive park was maintained as a wholesale nursery for over 15 years. The Town of Southwest Ranches purchased the property in 2004 for preservation of open space and for development of outdoor recreational amenities.
Currently open to the public are: parking, playground, restroom, a picnic shelter available for rental, a basketball goal for practice, and a multi-use field that can host baseball/softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and other sports. No permit is required for use of this field. Sports equipment is available upon request at no charge with approved reservations.
Design of further amenities includes a fishing pond and pier, as well as equestrian facilities.
Country Estates Park, also known as “Fishing Hole” Park serves local residents as well as visitors from other places. The pastoral nature of the facility compliments the Town’s rural character.
