*Reminder to all residents of Southwest Ranches, It is illegal to burn outdoors without a permit in Broward County. For more info on how to obtain a burn permit, please contact the Broward County Fire Marshal's Office (954) 831-8210. All Barbecue grills or outdoor cooking appliances must be placed at least ten feet from the nearest building.*

2/2002 Fire well testing and maintenance: Since January 1st 2002, all fire wells in the Town of Southwest Ranches have been tested. We are in the process of fixing broken wells. Also we are painting the wells yellow and placing blue reflective markers in the road in front of the wells, this will assist us in locating the wells at night. If anyone has questions about our fire well maintenance program, our would like to report a damaged well please call 954-434-6888.
