Mayor Nelson is married to Gina Sandusky-Nelson. They have 2 children, Chloe Suzanne, age 12 and Coleman James, age 9. Jeff has been a resident of Broward County for over 45 years. He is employed by the School Board of Broward County and works as an Assistant Principal for Cypress Bay High School. Jeff is a licensed private pilot and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Other hobbies include fishing, hunting, and being outdoors - he is an avid sports fan and enthusiast and especially enjoys football and hockey.

Steve and his wife Denise have three daughters Natasha, Hannah and Erika.  He is a graduate of the University of Miami in 1979 (BBA – Finance, Computer Systems) and Baylor University 1982 (MBA – Finance).  Steve has worked in the corporate world and managed his own business. When he is not working Steve enjoys travel, golf, and working on the property. Most of his extended family lives in Colorado where he enjoys spending much of his vacation time.

The Town welcomes its newest Council Member, Gary Jablonski. Council Member Jablonski is married to Kathleen, and has two sons, Kyle and Stephen. He has been in the hospitality industry since 1979 when he moved to Broward County. Being a graduate of the University of Florida and earning a degree in Forest Resources and Conservation, he is very interested in the Town's resources. The Jablonski's moved to Rolling Oaks in 1992 and became active in the formation of our town. His goal is to help make our Town the safest and most animal friendly in South Florida.

Council Member McKay is married to Eleanor. They have one child: Ryan, 13. The McKay's have lived in Southwest Ranches since 1992. He was born in Miami; attended Gables High School, Miami-Dade South, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical School. Doug is a licensed Real Estate Agent and Investor.
