Road Maintenance, Repair and Clean-Up

The Town of Southwest Ranches has contracted with Dig-It Tractor Services, Inc., to upkeep our Roadway Maintenance and Repair.

If you witness illegal dumping activities, please contact BSO immediately at the non-emergency telephone (954) 765-4321. However, should you witness a hazard waste dumping or materials are blocking the roadway and affecting the safety and well being of motorist, please call 911. Also, call or e-mail Town Hall so we may assist in notifying the property owner. For litter clean-up, join our growing Adopt-A-Street Program to keep the Ranches Clean & Green!

Public vs. Private Roads

Most of the streets within our Town are public roads; however, there are a great number of private roads. Not all private roads are dirt roads.

Street Signs

Stop signs, yeild signs, street name signs, etc. are managed by the Town of Southwest Ranches. Please keep the Town informed if you see a vandalized, stolen and 'down' sign within our Town!

Traffic Signals are maintained by County Traffic Engineering. If you should happen to see a traffic signal out or working improperly, please contact County Traffic Engineering at the number below...
