Elections in Southwest Ranches
The Town of Southwest Ranches holds a Municipal Election every other year on the 1st Tuesday in November (on even numbered years). Occasionally, municipalities can have "Special Elections" when called by the Town Council and properly advertised by the Town Clerk.

On November 4, 2008 the residents of Southwest Ranches will be voting for the position of Mayor, Council Member- Distrcit 3, and Council Member- District 4. Below is the information for candidates that have filed paper work with the Town Clerk. Individuals listed below have announced their intention to run; however, they will not be considered official candidates until the close of the qualifying period at noon on September 9, 2008.
